I want to touch on two points made in the two levels of this thread.

First, David said:" First, it may seem a cliche, but what happens may be
out of your control, but how you feel about it is definitely yours to
control."

How very true. Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react to
it.

Second, there are differing opinions on jump or wait. Both options
present pros and cons. Sasha is right on in that it is easier to find a
job when you have a job. In my own humble opinion, a bird in hand is
worth two in the bush.

Personally, I would stay on board the ship-but be looking like a
wildcatter for another job given the information provided by Wanda. I
would not wait to get laid off before having some idea of what else is
out there. But I would hold out as long as I could-but not at the
expense of finding a better working environment.
