Let me understand...*you* installed the trial version on top of the
already-installed older one, then were surprised when the uninstaller
removed some or all of the original functionality?
I strongly suspect Adobe will simply instruct you to
reinstall--presuming in the process you have a legal copy to do so
with. It really isn't Adobe's fault...especially when a point upgrade
is usually relatively minor and many parts of the underlying
application code have not changed.
Usually, this problem arises from installing the second version and
accepting the default values for the path...and can *usually* be
avoided by using a different path. That, however, is now (to quote an
old Jack Paar line) "blood over the dam!"
The good thing about this kind of experience is you learn the kind of
thing not to do in future...
If you don't have a copy of 7.0 to reinstall at the moment, why not
reinstall the trial from scratch to get you by?
