I agree with you that the job post originally commented on is not the
same as ads for writers with programming experience or engineering
degrees (particularly the latter, as I am a writer/ pubs manager with an
engineering degree!). However, the job ad that launched this thread
was indeed an ad for someone to do two jobs; they actually said so
in the ad. Just to clarify that little point. :)
