Diotima, I also go through a similar process to you, partly to do with the
sinking in of the information and partly because I am in planning mode.
You're certainly not alone (and probably not that slow either). I agree
with Robyn with respect to the fast and slow days... most of us have up
and down days.
That said, I have been in situations (in the past (previous managers
etc.)) where I have been required to start producing text from day one
and hand over drafts before I have had time to review or edit
properly(ouch). This certainly added to the 'slow writing tendency' as I
was trying to plan and edit as I went along.
Bruce, I really liked your Journal writing idea - I'm going to try that
one. As for the don't edit as you go along... yeah, well... that's a will
power issue that I continue to work on ;-)
