ah yes, now i see it. i haven't tried it yet, but it looks like you just right click the book icon, click "properties," select "book with link," and then choose the topic. neat.

If I'm understanding you correctly, the answer is yes. (Well, it's yes

in RoboHelp HTML. I'm not sure from your post whether you are using

RoboHelp for Word or RoboHelp HTML.) Just assign a topic to the book

using the RoboHelp TOC designer. You should see a check box labeled

"Book with link". Select it and choose the desired topic.

help system, the default topic you've assigned is the first topic that

they will see.
