Yes! But not for anything that mattered. It was
one of those writing tests that an agency insisted I do
before they'd add me to their books. Up until that point
I wasn't impressed with the agency so didn't really care about
the results.
The task was to document the procedure for making a sandwich
(filling of my choice). Since I wanted to highlight to
them the futility of this kind of task I chose to document
each step in excrutiating detail, first for right handers,
then for left handers (I stated that I assumed the sandwich
maker was approximately humanoid with opposible thumbs).
My sandwich was of Scooby Doo proportions.
I never had feedback from them about that task, so I don't
know if it was even read. They periodically asked if I was
interested in positions that either did not fit my
requirements or were in places where I told them didn't want
to work. Maybe they were inept, maybe they were getting
payback...
