Now to my question. Before I rewrite the following sentence, I need to
know what CIQ means: 'The CIQ documentation for a particular application
installation should detail the antivirus configuration to be used.'

A web search for CIQ has not turned up anything useful, nor has Acronym
Finder. And the people who can tell me are asleep on the other side of
the Atlantic.

Any suggestions?>>

Since you can't find it on Internet, I am going to guess it is an
internal department of the company or other company-specific acronym.
"Current Install Questions?" "Couldn't Interpret Quote?" :-)

It could've changed names since the sentence was written, so ask around.
