When I was creating documents that included a DC we always
used a scan of the original, including signature.  That's SOP in 
that industry and you are required to identify the person in your
company responsible for certifying compliance (who, BTW, 
does not have to be your CEO), but whether a facsimile of the
person's actual signature is a regulatory requirement is another 
question.  All I can tell you is in 10+ years I never saw a DC 
that didn't have *somebody's* signature on it.
