Yes, a blatant example of Microsoft running roughshod over a smaller company.

There are many points of difference. The Lingo trademark is clearly not related to the Microsoft trademark, and the other way around.

Of course, it is possible that if Microsoft wanted to they could get the courts to rule in their favor, or simply overpower the other company with threats of deep pocket legal issues.
