I maintain a comparison matrix of various Help authoring tools at
http://www.helpstuff.com/helpstuff.html. I like to use AuthorIT for almost
all projects (especially if I need to produce a print version), although
I've also used WebWorks Publisher for Word (which I also like, although
because AuthorIT publishes to Word and doesn't use it for a development
environment, almost all of the Word foibles are eliminated).
