Microsoft Publisher files in Word?

I have a large document on a CD that is a Microsoft Publisher file (.pub).

Has anyone sucessfully read this type of file with Word?

I have done some searching on the web, but I haven't found a file
converter for this.

Is anyone familiar with this, please?
