Ok guys, here I am again. I think I have finally decided to relocate from
Rochester, NY to Orlando, Tampa, Clearwater, or Dallas (have family and/or
friends in those places). I have three years of professional experience
as a web designer and technical writer and have my B.S. in Technical
Communication (May '03).

When I move, I will probably be flying down and taking nothing with me -
buying all new (well new to me anyway) stuff because it will probably be
cheaper that way.

I have never relocated before and was wondering how I should go about
finding a job? I have been looking on the major job boards, trying to
find companies in the areas, and posting my resume to web sites. It'd be
great to get a job fairly quickly (I need a job before I can make the
move). Does anyone have any ideas of where else I can look or what I can
do to improve the odds of me getting a job fairly quickly?

My main interest is in moving to near Orlando or Tampa. My skills are in
web design, technical writing, and software documentation for the most
part. I really enjoy web design the most. :)

Any ideas, suggestions, contacts, or stories of when you relocated would
be great. Thanks!
