Christine,
Dunno about the weird repagination problems. Usually, Word
only repaginates like crazy when you change printer drivers.
However, if your graphics are floating in frames, they'll
tend to be unstable. Make them in-line, in their own para,
and they'll behave much better.

Word's autonumbering is okay for shopping lists, but for
real numbering in complicated procedures, you need to use
sequence fields. I doc'd the procedure once, a long time
ago. It's in the archives at:
