I haven't been reading the whole discussion, but if, according to the last
post, its a question of a $600 difference... I'd advise that you just accept
the loss, and write it off as an expensive lesson in making sure terms of
payment are clear up front.

Why? Cause lawyers are expensive, and fees add up terrifyingly fast. Add
court costs and the non-productive time (and emotional aggravation) that you
will spend fighting this, and it may end up costing you WAY more than 600
bucks. It also sounds as though you'd have trouble proving that you were
misled.
