Not really. I'm actually saying that maybe, base don the targeted user,
the application shouldn't even use drop downs, menus, and buttons.
However, because the code for them is no easy to use, the developer will
make the user fit in that model.

John I don't understand why your making the associations you are. You're
arguing for the sake of argument it would seem.

The use of drop downs, menus, buttons, windows as building blocks and
how they are assembled are two very separate issues.
