Several websites I've ordered from with a credit/debit card have stated
on the billing page "charge will appear as $nn.nn ABC company." I try to
print that page so I know what the charge is when reconciling.
Recently my husband purchased new tires for his car and the receipt was
from the tire shop. The debit came across as "Azp address." If I hadn't
had the receipt and the ability to match the amount and address, I would
have raised holy heck with the bank and had the charges reversed. A
live, face-to-face transaction with unidentifiable identification.
