Thanks very much to all who replied, both on and off list. This is what
I'm going to do:
* not use FrontPage - I'll use Word instead and format myself
* not be a writing teacher - just make changes quietly
* give writer an outline, a sample, and a template
* be nice to writer ( hey, I knew that :-) )
* withhold judgement and see what develops - this could be a good thing
* be thankful daily that I have a job when so many don't ;)
And to another point that Geoff Hart and maybe others made, I'm not that
worried that I'll be replaced by users. Though if they find they can
replace me with untrained writers, and have their documentation needs
satisfied, then I think they should in fact do so. If someone doesn't
require my skills, such as they are, then I don't want to be there.
