Re: IBM ZAPs
Hi, guys...this really applies to writers who are concentrating on IBM
MVS-type docs.
We use the term "ZAPs", which in other worlds, would be known as
"patches".
Is the term ZAP an official term? If I'm writing for ISPF users, would
they know exactly what I'm referring to?
It's been a very long time since I worked with IBM mainframes. But if this web page is authoritative
http://search390.techtarget.com/sDefinition/0,,sid10_gci213415,00.html
the yes, "Zap" (not "ZAP") is an official term. Apparently the patch utility is called "SuperZap".
