Carol (and all)...how do I say this...

This thread is chock full of opinion on a subject that will
only ignite a heated discussion. While it has the slightest
relevance to technical writing, it does so only with as much
relevance as me discussing my favorite automobiles because
most technical writers get to work in automobiles.

Do we have to go there?
