Think about LAMP publishing (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP/Perl). This book got me
started:

It's best not to rely on any one book, though. My self-study style is to
plow into it, form specific questions, and then Google for the answers. That
way you can slice through many different resources on a specific topic -
it's like reading lots of books at once.
