Wrong again. Security settings on the machine can be made to restrict the
access of such applications to only running in certain space. Exactly like
Flash and Java.

Now, if you guys were smart you'd say "Well, windows BY DEFAULT, allows these
things to run in an insecure manner." Then you would have been correct. By
default, many security settings are turned off or in a low security mode. This
is why companies and individuals need to pay attention and spend some time
hardening their machines.

However, this is not that much different that RedHat Linux, which also installs
and configures many things by default that are insecure. As always, the root
cause of insecurity in most systems is not the operating system or the code,
but the gray matter that operates it.
