There is also the INDEX-L hosted at the University of North Carolina (send mail to listserv -at- unc -dot- edu; in the body of the message "subscribe index-l".

Additionally, there is an indexing course taught online through the U.S. Department of Agriculture if you really get into indexing as a specialty. Most indexers seem to have taken it (or taught it!). Fee is $400 unless they've changed it.
