Sean provides several good reasons to learn VB, and I'd like to add one
more.

If you are fortunate enough to be part of the product team from the design
and conception stage, knowing VB can help you participate in the crucial
stages of interface design. You can help mock-up, or suggest complete
alternatives, screens, dialogs (including well written error messages) to
present during meetings.
