Woody made the mistake of assuming because the GUI won't let you do it,
templates don't have a reference to their creator. I unfortunately have had
this nightmare before. They do, just Word won't let you at it. It can cause
missing references when those templates are placed on another machine
without their 'based on' template present. It shows up in the VBE's Tools >
References list as Missing. Damn annoying really.
So the golden rule is always create your templates based on Normal. If you
have a template for templates, copy and rename it when making a new
template.
