Sean Asked:
Anyone know how to keep the
autonumber bullet black yet underline the text and
make the text of the x-ref blue as per the character
style?
-------------------------------

That's happening because the bullet color for your bullet style is probably set to Auto. Auto colors the bullet whatever color the text in the style is. To change it:

1. Format > Style
2. Select your bullet font and click modify
Modify Style box appears.
3. Select Format > Numbering.
Bullets and Numbering appears.
4. Make sure the bullet style you are using is selected (it should be).
5. Click Customize
Customize Bulleted List appears.
6. Click Font
Font appears. By default, font color is set to Auto.
7. Select Black (or any other color) for the font color. Actually, while you're there, you might as well set any other properties you need too.
8. Click OK in all of those boxes that you opened.

Did that take care of it?
