That's a pretty broad statement that may be more regional than anything
else. Right now in the Denver metro area, you see lots and lots of postings
for TWs that can convert Word and other docs to FM and that are advanced
level in FM and single sourcing. It's been a trend that just is just been
noticeable for the past year. For a long time, you could find more jobs in
the Denver area that used Word than FM, despite the "high-techiness" of the
area. Now, that the economy is kaput around here, companies are recognizing
that they need to get more bang for their buck and be more efficient w/ the
use of their tools and employees' time, so you see more and more adds for FM
and WWP than ever before. Rather ironic, but. . .

and as for technology, the jobs have been all over the board - no one
technology or field is super dominant right now. . .
