The latest messages in this thread seem based on an assumption that the inclusion of screen shots implies a UI-oriented document.

On the contrary, an excellent tutorial is mostly task-oriented, and the descriptions of those tasks include screen shots that confirm each step of the reader's progress through the task.

The quite reasonable omission of screen shots from online help doesn't mandate their removal from all other documentation.
