Well, I?ve been doing this for at least 15 years and I?ve worn many hats.
For most of those years I have been a technical communicator, although I
had one stint as a Business Analyst that I loved.

For the past 8 months I?ve been employed as a consultant with a major
pharmaceutical company. Although I?m primarily a technical writer, I?m
also doing a bit of everything and anything they need.
* First, I created a Quick Ref. guide for an in-house implementation of
Windows 2000 .
* Then I managed the QA Process team for that implementation.
* Now, I?m creating online user guides for various Access databases.
* My next project is to create a Quick Ref. guide for a Clinical Affairs
report that is used by some high level executives.
* After that I?ll be producing a Reports Overview document for some
slightly lower level executives.

Just another day in the life of a technical writer...
