Hi John

I don't see the used book idea being touted so much (just finished reading
yesterday's Digest), so... If you want the MS Manual of Style for Tech
Pubs:

1. Wait for the 3rd edition or
2. check out www.bookfinder.com and see if anyone has a used copy for sale
or
3. register your want on www.abebooks.com and the moment someone is about
to post it for sale, you get notification.

ABE is an excellent source for used books and Bookfinder is good for
finding the books at not only ABE but everyone else (who is trawled by
bookfinder) and we are talking world-wide. Amazon can have some really
wacky mark-ups on used books sometimes. Tread carefully there so you don't
rip yourself off.

The Sun Style Guide (Read Me First: A Style Guide for the Computer
Industry)can also be found this way, if it is also out of print as someone
hinted. It's the foundation for my own in-house style guide.

regards, Karen Mardahl
