Subject:trying to create dictionary style headers in Word From:eviewilcox -at- cs -dot- com To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Fri, 25 Oct 2002 10:04:27 -0400
Hi,
Can anyone tell me whether this is possible: I'm working on a style guide (using Word, unfortunately) and I'd like to design it so that the header for each page tells the reader what the first and last entry on that page are. (Like in a dictionary, where the first page header says "aardvark-abdicate" or something like that). Does anyone know how I could automate this? I've used cross-references in headers before, but can't figure out how to tell Word to look for the first and last word on the page. Does anyone know whether this can be done, and if so how? For that matter, can it be done in Frame?
thanks so much,
Evie
