Subject:Using Bold Fonts instead of making Font Bold From:"John Locke" <mail -at- freelock -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Fri, 25 Oct 2002 12:00:36 -0700 (PDT)
Hello, Whirlers
I'm writing a user manual for a client in Word, handing off to a graphic
designer who's using Quark. The graphic designer has provided me with some
Type I fonts to use, in both regular and bold versions. I've successfully
installed them, but no matter what I do, I can't get Word to use the Bold
version.
Any tips here? Both regular and bold versions installed fine, they're both
in the Fonts folder, I can view both of them in the Font Viewer...
.... but in Word, or any other Windows program, all I can see is the normal
version. And when I make it bold, the graphic designer says he's having to
convert every single instance.
Can any of you expert font fondlers provide insight on this issue?
