I've been using choicemail. Its a permission based email system. When some one who is not on your white list send you an email, they are asked to go a website and ask your permission to send you mail. You can import your outlook address book into it and all of those email addresses are put on your white list.

you can find it at download.com

Communicators:

Does anybody know of an email utility that, after five emails have been
received on a given topic, will eliminate all further messages on the same
topic from my inbox?

I would be glad to answer Common Interview Questions and pay Big Bucks for
such a utility. 8^)
