I'm not in the least worried. Open source projects have a history of having a quicker response rate than proprietary companies.

Also, Sun Microsystems, which released the code for OpenOffice.org continues to support the project. Sun is one of the few companies that has a chance to go toe-to-toe with Microsoft.

For these reasons, if Microsoft were to do as Dvorak predicted, OO.o would probably be uninstallable on Windows for less than a month.
