Well, I *have* been subjected to a couple of backstabbing 
martinets in my time, but literally all the rest have been 
just excellent people. When I think back, the contrast is 
actually astonishing.

"Cow-orker" is a long-standing joke on the Copyeditors 
mailing list.     I *like* it.   It's deliberate.  
So there.              :->

Oh, and I use a spell checker about one per year.
