Hi Karen,
Apologies if digest delay has rendered this irrelevant or repetitive!
While I like to distribute internal documentation in pdf (it keeps people from changing my doc, prevents their style definitions from messing up my formatting, helps me nail down release revisions, and avoids image linking problems), I wouldn't change things unless you have a reason to. Are you getting complaints from your users, or are you running into any problems? If not, I would just leave things as they are. (Why mess with something that's working?)
HTH,
Eva

create user guides in Word and publish them internally in Word...Is PDF preferred as an output for these types of user guides?
