Several folks have responded to the question about how
best to define specific keyboard buttons (in this case
the plus and minus signs).
There are plenty of "keycaps" fonts to be had, several
free as I recall, that work wonders for simplifying
these kinds of issues. "Press (keycaps symbol)" is
much easier and nearly impossible to mess up even by
the rankest newbie!
