Hi Tom/Anthony,
The links on http://www.nightflight.com/foldoc/ for 'foldoc' and 'wombat'
domains indeed don't work fine, but there is a new search button there
(draggable into IE and Netscape's personal toolbars) that works just like
the earlier one:)

On a related note, the first place *I* checked was FOLDOC, which I've always
found
to be a reliable source. However, the URI I have always used returned a 403,
Access
Forbidden message! So, I googled FOLDOC and found that the first two hits on
their
list also returned 403s. I think it was the wombat mirror site that finally
responded. Anybody know what's up with FOLDOC? I've always found that a
useful
resource for computer, internet, electronics terminology.

Tom,
The URL in my Favorites also stopped working when I checked it this week. I
did a GOOGLE and had the same results as you. I did find this site
http://www.nightflight.com/foldoc/ and it had this to say:
www.foldoc.org
2000-07-18 At last FOLDOC has its own domain name: www.foldoc.org. Thanks to
Karl O. Pinc for arranging and sponsoring this on his own initiative and for
no personal gain - a True Hero of the Net. This name, foldoc.doc.ic.ac.uk ,
and wombat.doc.ic.ac.uk now all point to the same server.
But, as you find out when you click any of these links, they don't work.
