Geetha...This very question prompted the longest thread in the history of
the list, generating a great amount of heat, but no light. Caused a great
deal of emotional writing, and however someone felt going into it, they
stayed that way through to the end.

Check the archives if you have about a month of spare time. Only you know
if what you know is enough.

Hi All,

How technical should a technical writer get?I have been in this field for
two years now and I have always had this question in mind. Will the ability
to understand applications, software products and good documentation skills
be sufficient or is something more required?

Thanks!

Regards,
Geetha
