<< I question this:
"Programs requiring plug-ins may be
more complicated to install and run but may enable more functionality and
interactivity.
The downside of plug-ins is that information technology departments in many
large
corporations ban their use."
Is this truly the case? I'm trying to mesh this statement with Macromedia's
claim on its front web page: "Over 97.8% of all web users have the
Macromedia Flash Player. ">>
You're asking the wrong question. Odds are you don't care about "all web
users" or "users at many corporations." You care about YOUR users, whether
it's people employed at your company or your clients or your prospects or
some combination of the three.
The only way to find out this information is to do some serious digging,
and to talk to the appropriate IT department(s) about it.
