Interesting reading, like anything coming out of World War II. I personally found the Why We Fight series equally shocking....but it was a different time, in a different place, and I don't apply my ethics to a time and place in which I didn't live. You do what you have to do when your teaching an entire generation why they should hate someone and why they should kill them.
Someone made the comment that it read like a religious manual. One thing that some of the readers may not realize is that religion, specifically State Shinto, was intimately intertwined with politics. It was used as a political tool and a justification.
I agree with Keith that it's more like Marcomm writing, some facts sprinkled throughout a heap of jargon. hehehehehe
