Hell no. Be proactive in a nice way and stay on top of
things. Involve yourself in their meetings, ask about
ones you know better than to walk in on. In general,
get very visibly involved and they will eventually be
inviting you by default.

But, I think we need to know the reason why you were
excluded. If it WAS an oversight, you're indeed
overreacting, and you're rattling cans in the dog
pound. ;)
