Subject:What comes after the company name? From:"Darren Barefoot" <darren -dot- barefoot -at- capeclear -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Thu, 1 Aug 2002 10:24:51 +0100
Hi,
In the next year or so I'm thinking of going the contract route. To that
end, I will be forming a company (possibly along with a couple of
colleagues). While this company will start off with focusing on software
documentation, we may expand into other areas such as Web design and
development, PR, marketing, etc. Now, we've decided on what we think is
a cool, short, recognizable word for our company name and URL. Our
quandary is about what follows the name.
Say, for example, I'd selected the name "Fortinbras" as my company name.
We've currently got the following shortlist of complete company names:
Fortinbras Communications
Fortinbras Information Design
Fortinbras Media
Can anybody suggest any compelling alternatives? Is there a good reason
to go with one over another? Thanks. DB.
