Lil,

In PowerPoint Help, go to the Contents tab and navigate to:

Microsoft PowerPoint Visual Basic Reference > Properties > I-L > Layout Property

This gives you a list of constants that specify the various possible layouts.

Armed with that information, you may be able to write a VB function that replaces the "Insert | New Slide ... (Ctrl+M)" menu function with a new one that provides only the choices you want to present.

That's as close as I can get you. Maybe someone else can assist with the VB part.
