Thanks to all who contributed to this thread. It took a lot of messages to
remind me that there are a lot of us who are not as fully employed now as we
were before 911.
That being the case, I began wondering why I spend so much time reading and
responding to this list. Is it propelling me to my next paying gig? Is it
contributing anything in the short-term to my employability? Are people in
this networking area offering contacts for contracts? Requests for resumes?
Interesting discourse here, valuable information at times. However, as this
thread has reminded me, there comes a time when a new course of action is
required. Maybe I'll be back someday. In the meantime, I wish you all well.
