query about US English usage

Hi all -

Once again, I have a usage question for our company style guide. In our list
of European/US English spellings and usage, my colleague has included :

queue = line
queuing = queuing

My query is about the second: I never recall anyone in the US queuing,
although I remember people waiting in line. I want to double check my
knowledge, however, because all the US dictionaries contain a definition for
queueing, it being a respectable English word and all.
