When I first came to Logan, I applied for secretarial positions at UT
State University (I figured I'd worked 8 years in similar positions at
Georgia Tech, so I'd be a good candidate).

They asked me to go to job service and take a battery of tests.
There were typing and proofreading tests, but the other tests were
basically manual dexterity tests -- flip little pegs over in their holes,
put washers on screws and place them in holes, etc.

I would finish a test, look around, and everyone else in the room
would still be struggling. I completed most of the tests in half the
time as the other victims.

I essentially found out I would make a great production
worker...sigh...must be all those years of typing.
