Re: Maximize and Minimize
Does Microsoft have "maximize" and "minimize" terms trademarked or copywritten, when used in a "maximize the window..." type of context? I'm not sure if I should use it or not, but I'd like to because it seems to be a universal term. TIA
A quick look at the Control Center for my GNOME desktop on Linux shows that the Sawfish window manager controls uses "maximizing" and "minimizing" and "maximized" and "minimized." Since this is free software, I think it's safe to conclude that there's no copyright on the words.
