To follow up on my suggestion to use GIFs in a Word doc...
One you've saved the GIF, insert it into word using Insert, Picture, From
File.
For some reason (and in my experience), merely copying the picture from a
graphics program or another Word doc and pasting it into the desired Word
doc does not keep the file size as lean and mean as the method I described
above.
I tested many methods and formats, as file size is a major concern to me -
I e-mail large documents all the time, and need to keep them skinny enough
to make it through tightly-girdled mail servers.
This is what I came up with. I'd love to improve the process if it can be
done, although I'm having NO problem with the quality of the images, nor
the file size.
