I would suggest that you talk to professors in your university's computer
science department. They would be able to suggest students who would be not
only willing but actually excited to write programs specifically suited to
your needs! Scripts written in Perl handle text easily, are implemented
quickly, and would be able to collect a great deal of data for you.
