TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
1. Lack of time (although I read the list--parts of it--at home rather
than at work. The only list I monitor at work is Framers.)
2. Already been addressed/answered by the time I get around to it.
3. Don't want to get flamed.
4. Lack of time.
Once I sent a meaty e-mail and it was kicked out because I hadn't cut the
excess garbage off the bottom. By that time it was old news and I had
neither time nor inclination to redo it. But I do learn a lot from this
list!
Regards,
Ann
